Civil War directed by Alex Garland puts a realty factor in your face of what separatism and war is. How the value of certain freedoms can be misused and turned into a weapon. Civil War tells the story of future America, a team of military-embedded journalists racing to get to the DC before rebel factions descend upon the White House.
Kristen Dunst is phenomenal her character as a war photo journalist showed a insightful view of how things ad people are viewed in life or death situations. I do feel at some point a revelation came over her and the job became too much for her. Constantly seeing death, capturing death. Stephen McKinley Henderson did an excellent job. The clarity his character brought to every scene brought balance to the group. Jesse Plemons my all time favorite even though he was in the film for a brief moment I think he stated the best powerful line in the film “What type of American are you? summed it all up.
Overall I truly enjoyed it. 4/5 🍿🍿🍿🍿
