Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga Revs Up The Big Screen

Young Furiosa (Alyla Browne) falls into the hands of a great biker horde led by the warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel, presided over by the Immortan Joe. As the two tyrants fight for dominance, Furiosa soon finds herself in a nonstop battle to make her way home. At the same time, experiences the loss of herself along the way. But, in return gains a sense of purpose.

Anya Taylor-Joy (Furiosa) is amazing. She takes us on a journey from beginning to end. Watching Furiosa fight to protect the promise she made to her mother before dying. You see her character transform throughout each chapter of the film. From her young innocence to her ultimate determination of revenge.

Chris Hemsworth (Dr. Dementus) is a force on screen. His insanity and brilliance match his ego to control all of the wasteland. Dementus may be a very complicated character but do not get it twisted he is a savage at the end of the day. Hemsworth is phenomenal in the role from head to toe. You lose yourself in the character when he’s on screen.

I give Furiosa a 7/10. For sure a great origin story in the Mad Max Saga and amazing action sequences.
