Gospel singer Smokie Norful’s new album “I Still Have You”….

After a seven year hiatus, the two time Grammy winner and gospel phenom Smokie Norful, comes out of semi retirement to release his seventh studio soulful album entitled “I Still Have You”. This singer, songwriter, and minister has done it again, bringing his eloquent vocals back on the music track. There’s no one out here that can replicate nor duplicate his sound. He is in a class of his own.

With that being said, let’s get into this project. Mr. Norful takes his music journey very serious as he does his ministry as minister of the Victory City located in Atlanta GA. Smokie express his love for the Lord and what he has been blessed with and through by keeping his faith in Jesus Christ. The title of the album and song track comes from real life experiences he happily shared with the audience at the album listening gathering. You never know what people are going through and to still come out and perform at a high level, letting us know how he kept going because he still had joy.

Not only was this album formed by Norful’s personal experiences, he decided to have his sons be involved in the production. When you here the tracks, you will find a blend of old school R&B flavor mixed with some hip-hop culture. Smokie is so ecstatic about his children being involved with this project. Giving them an opportunity to show off their talents and to see his music legacy caring on even after he transitions. Hopefully that won’t be no time soon, for this gospel musician wants this message ” I Still Have You” to be the loud voice to go out to so many young hearts.

Intimate session hearing snippets of tracks on the album…

Listening party in Atlanta GA hosted by Neiko Flowers of Praise 102.5 at Truth Midtown. Great atmosphere, food, people, and all round spectacular night. After hearing some of the songs from the album, the message is that no matter what you are going through, keep the faith that God still has you.

Album release date is June 7, 2024…
