Zoe Kravitz’s Blink Twice has audiences blinking…

Blink Twice a thriller/crime film, is actress Zoe Kravitz’s directoral debut. She co-wrote the script with E. T. Feigenbaum. The actress has issued a warning of the sexual violence displayed in this movie. After reviewing this film, I come to the conclusion that this story is not for the weak. Krovitz’s explores a very complex content on sexual assault and drug abuse. So let’s delve into some of the characters that are involved in this wild venture.

English actress Naomi Ackie plays Frida. Frida is a cocktail waitress that has dreams to being succesful and becomes intrigue with a billionaire tech at an event. In a awkward situation, she meets the tech and gets invites to a private island for a luxurious party. Things seem to be going well until her best friend turns up missing. Ackie really made her character seem vulnerable yet fearless once she discovers the truth.

Channing Tatum plays the billionaire tech name Slater King. Slater has a bad reputation and wants to show people that he sorry and that he has changed by throwing this private party. Slater seems to be holding to his word but things seem to be too good to be true. This comes to fruition when Frida’s friend comes up missing. This was a very dark role for Tatum. He really has the audience really questioning his personality and the whole party setup.

As for as the music accompanying the film, the song “Right Now” by Tony K kind of gives you an illustration of what the movie is about. The provocative words and the movement of the track gets you in the mood and sets the tone for an island gettogether. For Zoe Kravitz first project, she will have the audience blinking. This movie is a (3/4) 🍿and is theaters August 23rd…
