The Original Soundtrack for Disney’s highly anticipated sequel to the beloved 2003 film, “Freakier Friday,” is now available for purchase from Hollywood Records. The soundtrack features a diverse range of music, including all-new recordings by the film’s cast and the fictional band “Pink Slip,” as well as an original score composed by Amie Doherty. Linda Cohen serves as the music supervisor for this exciting collection of music.
The soundtrack features all-new recordings of the iconic Pink Slip song “Take Me Away” from the original film, produced by Suzy Shinn, known for her work with Panic! at the Disco, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Alicia Keys, and Dua Lipa. Christina Vidal Mitchell, the returning cast member, performs the lead vocals. Canadian alternative rock band The Beaches, who won the Juno Award for Group of the Year in 2024 and 2025, perform a cover of Pink Slip’s “Ultimate.” Multi-platinum songwriter and producer Sarah Aarons, known for her work with Zedd, Alessia Cara, and Maren Morris, contributes the original song “Baby.”
